Here are some things about me:
Contrarily to the above depiction, I don’t actually smoke cigarettes.
I’m a student of Literature and Digital Studies, as well as an officer of the radio club at UMW.
I like to pretend that I can dance ballet at parties, and once accidentally gave myself a rare sports injury from doing so (I’m fine now).
I also like to collect instruments and teach myself what I can- if you ask, I might even sing for you.
In Fall 2016, I officially became a published poet, which has been a dream of mine since forever.
Did you know that ‘amateur’ is actually defined as someone who does something out of love and not for monetary gain? Anyways, I’m probably the world’s biggest amateur: my pockets are filled with love, not money.
I love art history- my favorite periods are Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. I love that the main focus of the movements was capturing light as is, which also has a lot to do with why I love film.
I fall down stairs a lot. I fall up stairs a lot. I love to laugh at myself. I laugh fantastically loud.
I have memorized most of the words to the entire US Office. I am watching The Office right now, while I write this at 5 am.
I love to make movies and hope to do that professionally one day.
I love to make things in general, but I am artless, so these things are not always beautiful.
(Always feel free to contact me to get my thoughts about methods of poetry, art, video making, or any other tedious yet worthwhile task.)
